this is a continuation from my last post: http://projectbassthumb.com/2013/09/09/vacation-camping-lake-morena/ Day 4 - After a one hour drive from Lake Morena to Lake Jennings I checked in on the almost empty campground. It was so hot that I just could sit in the shadow drinking water, sweating it out and again and again... Later in the afternoon the friendly lady from the campground suggested me to fish Jennings from the shore. So I went down to the lake a started throwing cranksbaits and...

I was invited to fish lake skinner today. after one hour drive my friend and I finally arrived and shortly afterwards we were already on the water... In the early morning we both managed to catch some bass but nothing worth a picture. Noon and afternoon were really hard to me while my buddy caught some more.. After fishing dropshot, wacky, spinnerbait, deep crank and big baits I decided to fish a buzz bait in the early evening. my friend was just laughing and meant I wouldn't get anything on my...
just wanted to show you my first fish from murray I caught last week. tubed murray this morning again, without fish and also the evening session on lake miramar brought me just one small bass. hope I will catch some big ones soon. thanks for reading - stay tuned for more!

The weather was cloudy and very windy so casting was not that easy, the fish didn't care this and I lost another bass in front of my feet, damn! I really wanted to show my friends who came with me one of the fish I talk about all the time. But the gates were almost closing so I had to hurry up! One...
this morning I was again on lake dixon. the plan was to catch some bass on swimbait. but the bass didn't want like me and so I had to change my strategy and decided to fish a jig. right decision, finally a bass got angry and ate that stupid craw who entered his area.
after almost 2 months of trying, today I caught my first bass, finally! this afternoon I went up to Lake Dixon in beautiful Escondido. The days before I used to fish Jigs, Cranks and Spinnerbaits which didn't bring any success. So I decided today to try out Drop-Shot. After a few casts and spot changes I had a bite and little later my first BASS in my hands. Yashaaaa! Not that big but my first fish since I'm here! Stay tuned for more! Some impressions from Lake Dixon at the end. Thanks for...
